Since the age of 15, I have been absolutely obsessed with learning all of the theory and complexity of the guitar. As soon as I picked up my first guitar I realized one simple rule, the more hours you spend practicing, the better you will be. For over 30 years, I have actively and intensely studied scales, chords, keys, arpeggios, chord progressions, and every method that I could find in order to improve my speed, technique, and musical ability.
At an early age, all throughout school, long before even picking up a guitar, I have been exposed to music theory, scales, sheet music, and numerous musical concepts. I have always strived to be able to create strong memorable music that contains structure, movement, and feeling. A great memorable song is like an elusive piece of art that you not only hear, but you feel. The ability to create this kind of music is what I am extremely passionate about and continuously working toward.
A Hard Rock or Metal Band that Plays Original Music and/or Other Talented Musicians to Collaborate with. A Hard Edge is a Must!
THE BAND:
I'm currently looking to join an established band or form a new band in the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area. It must be an all-original rock or metal band. I can play all kinds of music, but my preferred style will always be metal, so the band has to have a tendency toward metal. I'm very proficient in lead and rhythm and prefer songs that are challenging and fast. This is especially important for originals. Of course, not every song has to be this way. Sometimes the best songs are simple and easy to play.

THE PERFORMANCES:
I'm more than willing to play two or three times a month in and around the Cincinnati area. I'm also more than willing to travel for shows outside of the Cincinnati area, or even out of state for a weekend, but I'm not currently looking to be gone from home for weeks at a time or live on a tour bus. I would much prefer to play in and around the Cincinnati area, become a fixture in the local music scene, and build up a strong following of listeners.
What I Can Bring to the Table
ON STAGE:
What I can bring is a high level of skill and professionalism and an extremely high-energy stage presence that people remember. I live to perform on stage and you can see that in every performance. I treat every show like it is the most important gig of my life. No matter how many people are in the audience, even if two people show up, I perform like thousands of people are watching. I think that's how you build a fan base.

SONG WRITING:
I always strive to create songs that have good form and structure; songs that revolve around a main riff or centralized theme. For example a song might be structured like this: Intro, prechorus, verse, prechorus, chorus, bridge, solo, prechorus, chorus, verse, outro. Of course there are infinite ways to structure a song. The important thing is that it is unique, has movement and structure, and has a hook. And of course, sometimes a song can just be a hard hitting heavy and fast, melt your face kind of thrash metal masterpiece that makes you want to bang your head so hard you bleed from your eyes! That's always good too!
